“Honoring Our Past” tells the story of how I feel connected to One World Trade Center in NYC. One World Trade Center and I grew up together. Whenever I come to New York, I constantly stare at this building. What motivated me to create this project is the coincidence that I came home from the hospital the same day the towers came down on 9/11, after being born premature. This project shows the connection I have to the building and the fact that I see the One World Trade Center everywhere I go in New York City and even in my hometown of Philadelphia.
